Hello! Just changed my monster 696 with a panigale 899! Used to ride honda vtr1000 and missed more sportive machine

Two first questions:
1. can’t loosen the mirrors, is this known? 2. is it worth to put termignoni on it? Don’t necessary more power but love an even more deep sound. I read it can take up to 4 hours work 🫣

Welcome and congrats on your 899, I also had (for a brief period) a white 696, before moving to the 899. Now I ride a new Monster (937), but I do miss the 899, it was a very fun bike.
I assume you're talking about removing the mirrors, right? If that's the case, no, of course they can be removed, it's possible the previous owner used too much Loctite (or red Loctite instead of blue) and now the bolts are stuck... you can try soften them with a heat gun or a soldering iron, but of course it's not easy because you have plastic all around. Look for the Service Manual online, in PDF format... very useful to understand how to disassemble the bike. The Spare Parts manual can also give you some pointers, as you get exploded views of the entire bike.

Welcome! I have the termi and upmap on my bike. Can’t say I noticed a ton of difference power wise, maybe a little extra power at the top of the rev range. However, I do prefer the sound. Again, not a super noticeable change; but it’s deeper and has a bit more thump to it. The oem exhaust had a hollow sound to it, termis fill out the sound much better. And they look great.

Removing the exhaust isn’t too difficult. You’ll want some ball end hex sockets for the 2 bolts tucked under the rear sets. Then there are two more in front of the oil pan (10mm?).

The only other issue you may have is the bolts in between the silencer that hold the Y pipe in place tend to get corroded and they may strip. And, you’ll need to remove the exhaust flapper since the termi doesn’t require it. This part is more fiddly than it is difficult.

The termi pipes solve this issue and they use exhaust springs instead.

The termi’s are installed by professional together with custom mapping. It was a lot of work since all bolts had to be drilled out. The sound is much better and great looks. Unfortunatrly it needs to be re-mapped since there is an error in the map that shuts the motor off after 40 minutes . Quite uncomfortable on the highway…
