Hi Allawy, before doing anything rash! Have a look at this website for rim tapes.

Special GP Striping Ducati 899 Panigale Rood, Zwart - 899 Panigale Rood

They do a great set for the 899. Take a look at stock images of the 1199 and see how the red tape 'lifts' the visual impact of the black wheel.

I'd trade ya, but I'm in Cali. I'm afraid with the shipping cost and down time, it would make more sense for both of us to buy an aftermarket set that will also shave some pounds... Just a thought
