Welcome to 899Panigale.org - we are a friendly community of Ducati riders and enthusiasts. We all love riding, and many of us are looking at getting (or already have!) the Ducati 899 Panigale.

Please post a bit about yourself. Who are you, why you love or hate the 899 Panigale (or Ducati's in general), and a bit of your riding history.

Thanks!

Hi there! I'm from Scotland.
Currently own the 899 panigale in artic white (posted a few pictures already!) I have rode over 30,000miles of smiles in the last few years. .. split between a monster 696, 848evo & a KTM RC8. I still have my RC8 and introduced the 899 to it.
I have put over 300 miles on the 899.
I love how easy the 899 is to ride, very agile, more forgiving than the RC8.
Not too sure of the front brakes but thats getting sorted.
Can't wait to share hints and tips.

Hi, I'm from Switzerland.
I was stunned by the 1199 when I saw it for the first time and it immediately became the bike of my dreams. I am an owner of a triumph daytona 675 (2008) and I was never thinking about replacing it. But now since I know about the 899 I want that one!

From Denver - put a deposit down after I received the postcard from Ducati saying that they were bringing 300 to the USA in November. Definitely excited to get on this bike, as I was looking for a medium bike that would be "hoonable" - almost went with the Hyperstrada.

Let us know when you get yours. I'm in NE and should be getting mine in Nov as well.

any idea when this month you will be getting your 899? seems like deliveries are all happening soon.
Not really. Either the dealer doesn't know of they're being very tight lipped. I'd sure like to get it before it snows so I can put a few miles on her.

Hello everyone,

I'm a weekend track day rider who rode an 2011 848 EVO. I recently traded in my 848 for the new 899. I took delivery of the 899 in November. The bike is amazing!!

My home track is the NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, LA. NOLA Motorsports Park - New Orleans, Louisiana race track, go karts, performance driving schools

I have ordered several parts for the 899. I have ordered the LightTec Rear Sets (they will work on the 899)
LighTech Official Store | DUCATI PANIGALE 1199 2012+ Adjustable Rearsets | Worldwide Shipping LighTechUK.com

And of corse I have also ordered the Termi's

I plan on getting on the track in January! I can't wait to see how she runs on the track.

I also want to wish everyone best of luck getting their new 899!!

How's it going everyone! New to the forum, figured I'd join since I finally bought my first ducati. Gotta say I'm pretty happy with my choice going with the 899 panigale. Definitely feels a lot different from my rsv4, more the riding style and feel not power of course. Well I live in San Diego and I do as much canyon riding as possible. I'll be setting the 899 up as my track bike. I've own quite a few bikes starting with an 07 R6, two 07 R1s, 03 636, 07 zx6r, 07 gsxr 600, 2011 gsxr 750, 09 daytona 675, 2010 rsv4 (white), 2010 rsv4 (black), and now 2014 899 panigale. I currently have only the 899 and the black rsv4. Got tired of japanese bikes so I'm sticking with Italian!
