Has anyone successfully got their 899 onto a UK trackday?

If so what was the track\limit and trackday organiser.

Had mine tested at a local track @ 8000rpm - 110.4db!

Yes - stock exhaust. The frame is stamped with 108db @5375. I know people are getting the 1199 out on track but trying to figure out how before booking a track day only to fail at the static noise test.

You need do do a track day with drive by testing,you should be fine at donnington on a noisy day,i think silverstone is drive by also.

Never took a bike to the track and never knew they had this kind of restriction, fair enough, save everyones ears!

MSV are aware the panigale fails the static but they normally pass the ride by.

So you are being turned away from the track because the 899 Panigale is too loud? I didn't think something like that would happen at a track. How loud are these bikes that they aren't passing noise restrictions? It must be pretty loud.

Ducati even advertised that the db of the factory exhaust was too loud for some tracks. I thought this was a commonly known thing after 3 years.

As mentioned, in these cases the ride by db measurement usually allows it to slide thru.
