Picked up my White 899 a couple of weeks ago and my first accessory is a set of speedyMoto spool sliders. Great fit and finish..
I have the same installed on mine, and I agree they are well made. Now I need to widen my Pitbull rear stand a bit, It barely fits my CBR when adjusted to the largest setting, and the 899 seems to be about a half inch too wide for it.

I just installed a pair on mine too and I also have a Pit Bull spool stand. Yes, it's nice and very well made. But I didn't notice your picture until I did mine that the spool doesn't really seat all the way down the V catch. The slider is seating on the bolt of the adjuster for the V catch so the spool is not seated all the way down the bottom of the V. But it's still very solid and stable so I guess it's no big deal.

Mostly to lift the bike for maintenance such as lube chain or brake work. And for storing (if you can leave the bike alone long enough lol). Some spools have the added benefit (depending on design and materials) to act as a slider in case you and the bike go down. They would help prevent some damage to the swing arm in a light accident.
