I had a chance to do a really good cleaning on my 899, removed the side and lower fairings, whole 9 yards. I did 3 coats of wax too, came out great. Here are some pics in the morning sun in my driveway Only thing I didn't do was the chain but I haven't taken pics since I did that.

I could actually really tell a difference with the wax, it really helped smooth out the factory orange peel on the nose fairing by the mirrors and added a bit of nice deep gloss. It also really helped with bug gut removal and I don't worry about the guts staining the paint now if I leave them on there until another cleaning. I'm going to give her another once over soon with another 3 or 4 coats of wax.
