Anyone know what the deal is with that? I was under the impression the 899 doesn't have a slipper.

No it doesn't have a slipper clutch. I think they failed to type that correctly. I'll check my book when i get home but i remember it reading along the lines of the "EBC works just like a slipper clutch" in the manual.
