Whos going with what, who has gotten what? It seems just about every member here with an 899 in their hands has gone for white...

Red was always my favorite color for Ducati's, but after seeing what Arctic White looked like on the 899, I knew it was the best color to go with IMO

Same here, they had mine beside the white 1199 and the white of the 899 is way nicer. Adds a premium look to it.

Yup! It gives the 899 a look that red can't achieve. Hard to pass up on white.

If only the white came with black wheels. I'm not crazy about how the red wheels came out. I'm going with red in January.

It's a bit like buying a Ferrari, isn't it? Some brands are just known by a colour.

I read somewhere on the 1199 forums, somebody (Frosty?) called it "Impound Red".

Kinda fitting for this bike.

Red for me

Taking the plunge and ordering an 899, the white looks fantastic, and I do like white bikes, my last Fireblade was white as was the R1 before that, but to me, red says Ducati.

I ordered a white one and it came in Saturday. Went to the dealer to check it out. It was nice but a red 1199 was sitting next to it and I'm leaning more towards the red now.

Yeah thats true Ducati's signature red is just so nice and hard to say to!

But both colors are still very appealing.

I'd be sold on red in a HEART BEAT if it came with white wheels

or even gold like the 1098R

don't like red and black ONE BIT... In fact I'd even like to see the 899 in white with gold rollers
