Awesome bike but the rear set has to go! what rear set are you considering? Personally i like the Rizoma and the Giles. it's snowing here so i can't really get out and try them. Have you looked at any rear sets and if so, what do you like and why.

thx!

I just replaced my pegs with Rizoma pegs for the time being.

I'm heavily considering Woodcraft. Race proven stuff, extremely durable. You can order individual replacement parts for everything they make (like if you damage one peg).
Might as well add in woodcraft engine and stator cover protector while youre at it. ;)

Lol, my thoughts exactly! With the red anodized slider insert. Already have the woodcraft swingarm spools on the back, so might as well stay with matching parts.
Great minds think alike! It will match your red 899 perfectly

And maybe even some red rizoma bar ends too

Unfortunately the Woodcraft cover for the clutch is not an option, since the clutch cover on the 899 is not the same as the 1199. It's all one piece and that cover cannot be removed without taking the whole part off. I'm currently looking at a Sato or Leo Vince carbon fiber cover for the stator which would fit over the stock part. Maybe I'll just go with the Ducati one for the clutch side

I've got a set of Gilles off my friends 1199. I haven't had time to install yet, but may get to it this weekend. Roads are icy right now, so may not get to try them out for a while. I know they initially failed when he had them on, and he is waiting to get the final part from Gilles to fix the problem. He goes into more detail about it on his RR here:

My friend has the leo vince cover for his 1098 it looks pretty sweet. GB Racing is another alterative to look at but not as nice as Leo vince and Woodcraft.
