Has anybody fitted the r&g front fork protectors? The instructions tell you to fit the small spacer on right hand side. The left hand side doesn't have one. The protector on the left spins because it doesn't have a small spacer. Anyone else had this?

Yep, I've got them on mine, exactly the same and I think that's how they're designed, no problems so long as got the nylock nuts tightened correctly.

Cheers Adeyrob. Seems a bit daft that they give a spacer for one side which stops it spinning . I was thinking it may vibrate around when it's running .

Had mine on now for a few weeks and not had them loosen off. Know what you mean about the spacers, I thought the same when I fitted them, had to look at the instructions a few times to check I had it right and hadn't missed anything.

I was exactly the same, to the point where I thought I was sent the wrong set or part were missing.

Takes abit of fiddling about, but it seems to work fine. I've had mine on now for a few months and no issues either.

I had a chat with r&g today. They are sending me another thin spacer. They said they hadn't had or herd of any issues with the left side spinning when fitted.

At least they seem to be easy to deal with, some companies just aren't as helpful when you need help with their products.
