Those boy racer Muppets wouldn't know a decent bike if it bite them on the arse
I still like when they refer to the 899 as the "gateway panigale" as if it's the bike you get when you cant afford or cant handle the power of the 1199. I guess they cant imagine that people would buy an 899 over the 1199 for any other reason.Bike says it's the best sportbike that Ducati has ever made. I definitely trust their opinion more. They complain about the narrow tank...? Have they ever been on an 848/1X98? The new ergos are MUCH better. I really can't understand anyone who doesn't like this bike or wants more power. It's faster than a 999R and weighs less than a 1098. They claim it's the worst of both worlds, then immediately say it might be better than the 1199.... this right here is why I cancelled my subscription to Sport Rider. American motorcycle journalists are now completely irrelevant, and blindly repeat the mantra of "more power, more power". I only read Fast Bikes and Bike now, and occasional Performance Bike. British motorcycle journalism is far and away better than the American garbage permeating the industry now.
^ This.Never trust a white guy who thought he looked good with dreadlocks.
