Yo folks,

Probably not much R & D gone into this question as bike is fairly new but does anyone know if 25mm ohlins fork internals will fit from a 2012 848 evo into the 899 Showa units? Looking between each bike the bottoms are different between forks but maybe possibility internals are similar?

Both forks are 43mm so it's possible. I'd be interested in seeing the answer to this.

Doesn't look like it, the Ohlins kit part numbers from the 848 don't correlate with any of the Japanese bikes that have the Showa BP forks on them.

Personally i would never update the BPF forks. But i am curious how this will work out .

Just got the part numbers today, the NIX30 cartridges for the 899 are FGK229 whereas the 848/1098/1198 uses the FGK210. The FGK229 does not cross-reference to any other bike.
