[899 RIDER]

hi everyone im 899 rider and im from southern cali...im new here and planing on buying a brand new 899 panigale...i believe the seat heat issue should not be a concern here in cali since we have an average temp of 72 degrees through out the year...im excited and can't wait to get mine..i should be getting it a week from tomorrow...

I had to read the post twice. He said heat. Not height. When I first read the post I was calculating in my head how tall I am & scanning to see if he said how tall he was. LOL.

Honestly unless your riding around in a pair of cheap jeans/shorts you wont feel the heat. In my draggin jeans or leathers i don't even notice it.

Heat not being an issue, stop making us jealouse!!! I wish we had that problem in the UK at the moment!!! Seriously, welcome to the forum, and enjoy the 899 in some decent temps, be a while before us European riders thaw out enought!!!

Welcome to the forum! Weather here in San Diego is about 80 degrees and perfect for carving canyons! Aftermarket Termis and you'll be fine! I had issues with the heat and my ass was cooking, but installing the termis the exhaust flows better than stock and I have no issues with heat anymore or even notice it when I'm out riding. Austin racing makes an exhaust for the 1199 that fixed the heat issue due to it being a straight thru exhaust design and it's crazy loud! And crazy expensive!!!!!!! So termis will do for now until I fab up and tig weld my own version for a lot less cheaper!
