Hey Guys... I picked up my bike this weekend here in Los Angeles. With sales tax in my area at 9.25%... i walked out the door spending $16,800.00

Set up charge was $250
Freight Charge was $495

I got the dealer to knock $500 of MSRP making the bike $14,495.00

The rest was sales tax, DMV...etc.

Happy Riding!!

NICE JOB man! I'm in LA, and picked mine up from Berts and paid 17.6k OTD.. Where did you get yours at?

I got mine for $16,999 OTD, plus I paid $500 cash for GAP insurance since I did no money down. I put $4,500 down on my 848 when new and I regretted not keeping the money for other things. I'm also making an additional principal payment every month equal to the regular payment to pay it off sooner (I had a deposit down and budgeted for an 1199S with termis anyway so why not).

Has anyone opted for the extended warranty and which one did you go with? I might get one before my factory 2yr is up...

I did purchase the one offered by the dealer, four year extended warranty, which gives me six years total. Think I paid around $800 for it.
Are you sure? Usually they start from the date of purchase, not when your original runs out. That would be awesome though and I'd get that in a heartbeat! Can you check the paperwork and tell me which company it's thru? I know dealerships don't all offer the same ones by the same companies. Also if there is a deductible and if in the fine print it says genuine new Ducati parts or simply comparable parts?

That's pretty good- mine was $17400.00. Tax and all, I don't really mind to be honest, I felt the bike itself was a good deal!
