Anyone found an aftermarket chain guard that is longer than the stock one? The stock is quite short, so I get a lot of grease kicked up on the undertail paint. I know, bikes are supposed to be ridden, get dirty, etc., but it seems like a fairly easy upgrade to keep that (arctic white) silky smooth look! Maybe something for the 1199?

BTW, thanks to everyone for all the information here on the forum. My first Duc and absolutely loving it!

Picking up my Arctic White this Saturday - will be my first duc too!

I don't know if there is a longer chain guard (I've not actually looked) but just wondered if you've considered using dry chain lube? I've used Wurth Dry for years on my CBR600 and found it doesn't flick at all - will be using the same on my 899.

I know it doesn't answer your question but might be worth considering (if you haven't already!) as a way to keep the tail cleaner :)
