Does anyone know the inside diameter of our handle bars? (for choosing bar end weights)

I went to take mine off to have a measure but my biggest key at present is 10mm (no way big enough). Until I find a suitable tool, can anyone enlighten me so I can order some?

Is there any chance these would fit? They say 17mm ID. It looks like a rubber expansion piece but it might be the section on the aluminium that could be an issue. Half a mm though, it's tempting to try them.

Maybe I like it retro.....does it really matter?

I like the style of those bar ends, simple and clean. But sure, if you know where I can get them exactly the same with the 2014 logo I'll happily buy those instead to keep you happy.

Just pointing out that the "Dynamic D" Ducati logo was phased out in 2006. Anyone who's been around Ducatis for a while would see that on your bike and wonder if you stole those bar ends off of an old Monster 900. If you don't care, that's cool, but I though I'd let you know in case you weren't aware.

Nope, didn't know as I'm not a die hard Ducati fan or anything and this is my first one. I could care less if someone notices it's an old logo or not, because if I modify my bike or car it's for me and what I like, not for anyone else.

That being said, you still didn't answer my original question which was will they fit?

I measured the ID of the bars and posted it earlier in this thread, it was 16.5mm. If these say they're 17mm, then I'd have to say there's no guarantee they will fit, but they might. I doubt they'd make the OD of the bar ends 17mm if they spec'd them to fit inside of a 17mmID bar.
