Got the same problem here in the UK, picked mine up 20th December, managed about 180 miles so far, all on damp cold roads! Aching for the better weather! Enjoy it as soon as you get the chance.

Picked up the new 899 two weeks ago. I like looking at the bike a lot, but I haven't been able ride other than bringing it home. The weather literally died the day after and hasn't come back. I've had the flu all this week as well. One of these days!
I signed up here a few weeks ago and was finally able to login today (something preventing forum emails from reaching my account, who knows). Enough of my sob story, glad to be here and very happy to have snagged this bike. I've also owned a StreetFighter 848 as far as Ducati's go.
