After 17 years of riding Japanese sports bikes I decided to quit.
My break did last for about 5 years. But the summer of 2012 me and a good friend of mine spontaneously bought ourselves one Ducati Monster each.
And from that moment, dear friends, things changed. Although our bikes had far less horsepower than our previous Fireblades and R1's, this was pure magic. Much more involving, more charming and more enjoyable.
After that some other friends also bought Ducatis and we started to ride together.
Recently (1 month ago) I started an exclusive Ducati Club i Stockholm and since the 6th of December we now have 18 members. 6 of us bought brand new 899's.
For 2014 we are planing 2-3 track days, monthly trips on curvy roads in Sweden but also a 4 days trip to Bologna to visit the Ducati Factory and museum. On two of these days, we intend to rent from the local Ducati dealer and make a trip on the beautiful roads around Lake Garda.
I look forward to use this forum, sharing and getting information about our fantastic new bikes.
