Anyone using a gopro on their 899? I'm wanting to use mine on the yoke and just wondered what gadget/clamp your using :)

This video is from Barber a few weeks ago. I was taking it easy as the bike only had about 200 miles on it. The CEL is from disconnecting the break light.

Nice video. What did you think of the EBC? Sounded like you got a little wheel hope once or twice. Surprised to see so much TC interdiction.

Check out my post sat/nav mount in aftermarket parts, I've got a gopro and put a link to where you can get a ram ball mount that you can fit yourself in 30 seconds that doesn't require removal of the nut.

FYI - there's also a thread under 'track talk' for folks who are looking to use it as a learning tool.

thanks i'll have to check that out!
I don't own a Go-Pro, but I have been intrigued about getting one for occasional use on rides. However, I just don't know how interesting it would be to relive my rides on video. It seems like the novelty would wear off quickly. To those of you who have a Go-Pro, do you find that you use it that much on your rides?
I've mounted my GoPro under my rear tail looking backwards.

In the video you'll see my rear camera (899) and my friends front facing camera (999).

I mount mine on the nose using their suction cup. It gives a really good perspective and is completely out of the way.

I find that they are most helpful on track days, especially if you mount it on the tank and get the dash information in the image. With the dash information you can get to the bottom of questions like "why did I blow that corner?" - "oh I was in the wrong gear, did not turn in at the proper spot, did not hit the apex."

Also there are a number of cheaper alternatives, check Amazon or EBay. A buddy has a "CamOne" and its a great little unit and i think he paid $75 for it so at that price he is not really worried about damaging it.
