Just been down to the dealers, mine arrived yesterday afternoon and was having its PDI and Termi's fitted. Few extra touches tomorrow then venture shield ready for collecting Friday afternoon. Keeping fingers crossed for a dry day so can get a few miles on.......

Mines already had Termi's fitted, PDI tomorrow, venture shield on Friday and then it's ready for collection.

I don't care if it's raining, they rode it in Imola in bad conditions and loved it so London rain is no biggie. Besides I will enjoy cleaning it later...

1st sight

Called at the dealers on way home from work and saw my 899 for the 1st time in the flesh. Must admit, I was dribbling and wanted to take it out for a ride there and then. It looks awesome, had some graphics done, similar to the 1199R but with a few differences. Took a few photos on my phone but lighting not best so will get some daylight photos to post once picked up on Friday

How exciting!!! I'm happy for you. Living vicariously...Just found out mine is going to cool its heels in the warehouse when it arrives near but oh so far away on Christmas Eve. Shop will be closed through New Year. I'm a sad girl today but will be cheery January 4! Can't wait!

Well seems the shipper couldn't find the time to deliver mine the last couple days. Got the bad news last night. Interestingly enough we are picking up a bike but it is the 1199 for my husband. Sigh...

Hi I've been looking to order venture shield and instal it my self when my new 899 Arctic white arrives . Anybody ...do you think I need to order the mate or gloss for the white Ducati? Thanks

Not to sure I'd try fitting it myself, not an easy job. I've also had a few problems with mine starting to lift on the tail section, with having it fitted I've got a come back and had it replaced, if you fit yourself and have the same problems you'll have no comeback and have to replace yourself at extra cost. I've seen the same problem on a few bikes now. Worth thinking about.....
