Before the 899 Panigale there was the 1199 Panigale, and the folks at Ducati decided to tribute a special, limited, and exclusive edition of that bike to honor one of the best Formula 1 riders of all times, Aryton Senna.

Unveiled at the Sao Paulo Motorcycle Show, the 1199 Panigale S will only be on sale in Brazil. That alone makes it pretty exclusive.

The 1199 Panigale S Senna was designed in collaboration with the Senna Foundation, and only 161 bikes will be built. Th bikes will go on sale in the June of 2014. Each one will come with a racing exhaust system and a serieal number engraved on the top clamp.

No price announced as of yet (which probably means its too expensive for most people to buy.)

That looks really nice, I think these 1199 models should do a better job of holding their value more than regular 1199's.

I did notice a white mark on the wheels, it actually looks good, a look I can live with. When rolling fast I bet it will look pretty awesome.

I'm interested what the design philosophy is behind not painting that part.

I can't find any reference to anything to Senna online that would back that up.

I mean Senna did wear red and white. So maybe that?

His logo sometimes is red and silver..

I really look for info about these bike knowing that I will be in Brazil at the time and doubt that another bike will come on his name the last one was on 1995, 1997 and 1998.
Even if I had the money I believe these 161 ducatis are already own by collectors wich means people with lots $$$$$

its a big franchise. he has lots of fans. and people are willing to pay big money for his stuff

I actually have a few of his licensed mp4 f1 cars. Pricey stuff.

the detail on that watch is amazing, it's a unique watch, I doubt there are any like it. being a series gear head, it will be a must have. Now they should consider making a more classy design, not everyone will want a really sporty watch
