Took the plunge on sat and signed up for an arctic white, but am awaiting a call from the dealer to see if he can get one this side of xmas so I get the free termi's.
Took it for a test drive and that was that - current 848 will go and the new toy will take its place
Just felt a lot more useable than the 848 - and until the test ride I wouldn't have had a bad word against my old bike - still fantastic, just the test ride has shown how technology has moved it all on.

So are you going to get the bike before Christmas? Will you have to wait till the spring to actually take out your new toy, or do you live in a warm area where you can ride in the winter?

If they can get a white one, then yes by Xmas.

Sadly I live in England so hot winters don't exist!

I'm not a fair weather only rider, Ill only not ride on ice.

Had a monster from new as a commuter and put 20k on it in two years, the 899 will be rid, not looked at.
