Hi guys ! I finally got my white 899 after purchasing it about 2 month ago.
The bike rocks !!! I was shock at how loud the stock exhaust is.

Thanks man ! Hoping to learn more from you people ! If the after market exhaust is any louder I dun think I will be changing. I go to work pretty early in the morning and I am already afraid that I will wake the neighbors. But will see within a few weeks if the sound is annoying anyone. Haha.

Yes...apparently its louder especially if you take the baffles out. When I get mine fitted I'll post a video. You can always push it out of earshot!

Haha. Its almost impossible in Singapore. There is residential apartment at every corner. My best bet is starting it at a multi storey carpark and hope the sound is contained. Lol.

What was the tax on your bike? HK is not so bad compared to Singapore!

What was the tax on your bike? HK is not so bad compared to Singapore!

I dun know how much the tax is. But its A LOT ! In the states is only $15k which is about $19K SGD. I bought the Bike at $37.5K SGD with everything included which is a Road Certificate which is required in Singapore for $3.5K and Insurance. I would say the Machine price is around $32K. Haha. I would say its a whole lot ?

any plans for the 899?

For now I dun have any plan as I just came back to riding after a couple of years absence. For the time being would be to have the protections up. I am waiting for the frame sliders to hit the shore. I am waiting for the SATO frame sliding to see how it looks. As well as get some of the review on the R&G frame sliders. If anything, I will look to change the clutch system to the brembo RCS. I am not sure if its just me but the clutch is pretty stiff. It might be due to the fact that its still new. I will see how it goes but at the moment its take some effort to handle the clutch. Haha.
