Bike finally came in, so I went to go see it and pay for it. Very exciting.

Unfortunately, I am buying it in NY, but registering it in CA so I have some very interesting registration process I am going through. If all goes as planned, I should have a CA plate shipped to me in NY within the next 60 days. Which is just enough time to get through the worst of winter, hopefully.

I did not get to ride it yet, but what a gorgeous machine. Build quality is very nice and it just feels so small and light. I have a few pics attached, but you can get a real sense of the size of the bike with me on it. I am 6'2 and about 175lbs, and the bike feels like a toy. Sort of reminds me of my old Buell XB9SX in that regard.

Once April comes around I will be going on a 4500 mile journey to CA. Spread it over 2 or 3 weeks and really enjoy the beast! I am retrofitting it as a touring rig :) Installing the Motoreva steering stem so that I can mount my phone, hard wiring a usb connection, replacing the slippery stock pegs, doing a tail tidy and adding the mounts for a Kriega US20L tailbag.

I love that instrument cluster, but not more than the one on the 1199:

I agree. I would much rather have that then almost any of the goodies on the Panigale S.

The wait is finally over she has arrived. I haven't been out riding yet due to the weather and I don't think I'll be able to any time soon but she's here and looks amazing. I'm massively pleased with it and everything so far. Vie got the termis fitted on it too sounds nice and loud like a bike should. Pics and videos will follow.

Please post some videos of it with the exhaust and don't be afraid to give her a little throttle... after she's warmed up of course ;)
