Greetings all. I am desperate for some help solving my no-start issue.

2014 Ducati 899

When ignition turns on, dash initiates, fuel pump activates, BUT
1) the odometer flashes with dashes
2) check engine light stays on
3) Starter wont trigger

I then hold the menu button down to read code and I get "elock".
I then used JPDiag to check codes and I get the following (see image)
If anyone can help I would be very grateful. thx

The first code is about the exhaust valve, if I remember correctly it happens when people disconnect the cable from the valve. It's not an issue, but if you want you can entirely remove the servo & cable from the bike, then plug in a servo emulator, which will get rid of the fault code.
The second and third code seem to indicate an issue with the key. I know nothing about it, but the first thing I would try is to use the second key, to make sure the problem is ot just the key. Next I would check the wiring diagram and see if I could identify some sort of antenna near the keyhole, as maybe it's just a connector that got loose or a wire that broke.

Thanks for your response. Regarding the no-start issue. I traced all the wires from the key cylinder and found no breaks or bad connections. I unplugged and re-plugged to ensure clean connections. I only have 1 key. So the JPDiag error code is now saying "wrong key" but its the same key I've always used, I'm certain. Any other thoughts? anybody?

I see you've done your homework. Yes, I'm 99% sure its not due to that because I've tested each component individually and they all check out. Plus it's been working for over 2 years now without a hitch. I ran JPDiag DTC I get only one fault code and that is "wrong key". I know what your thinking but its the same one I've always used. I only have one key. Is it possible the key chip doesnt function any more? Do these go out often? I have no blemishes or damage to my key. Does the on-board system every forget keys? Am I able to get another chipped key to match my system? dealer only? so many questions, please understand my frustration
