Would you mind elaborating on this? How mechanically inclined is your friend? All I see is 5 hex bolts and would think it could be installed in about a minute.I didnt install it had a friend do it. He said it was a bit of a pain.
Sadly, you don't...when commuting etc and you park it somewhere, how do you stop douches from opening and filling the tank with shite?
Completely removable. Is this cap completely removable like the Rizoma or does it operate on a hinge like the stock one?
Yep, it's easy. In addition to those visible hex bolts, installation requires removal and reinstallation of the baseplate beneath (another 4 bolts). It's a 10 minute job, if that.Would you mind elaborating on this? How mechanically inclined is your friend? All I see is 5 hex bolts and would think it could be installed in about a minute.![]()
Thanks for the reply. I'd love to get a new fuel cap as I think the stock one is fairly boring looking. I don't want to lose the hinge capability, however - it is an important convenience factor for me.Yep, it's easy.
