Ducati's eagerly anticipated 'baby' Panigale 899 is the new challenger in the middleweight sports bike division.

We pit it against the class leading Suzuki GSX-R750 and the hugely capable Triumph Daytona 675R to see if it's got what it takes to set a new world order.

Get the best of biking EVERY day...

I don't want to ruin anything so best to just watch the video

I think most of you will be happy with the results

I like how they are happier with the 899 than they were with the 1199.

its what the panigale should of been all along!

The Triumph has a certain F1 scream to it, but I cant get over the Quadros Drone.

and I love how comfortable they say it is on road.

So far it's just MCN who did the road and track review. There is another video by Motormania showing road riding and it seems that the 899 lives up to its capabilities. Other than that..I'm still waiting for other road reviews on the 899...then that will justify its Quadro-goodness !

Check out Fast Bikes Magazine..they have done an on-road long term review vs the gixxer 750.

Yep

I read the Fast Bikes article, the 899 won 7 of the 10 categories against the GSXR 750, including fuelling and throttle response. GSXR punched out 124rwhp while the 899 pipped it with 125.6rwhp

Cant wait for mine to arrive.
