It's the first time in a long time that a major motorcycle company has made a world debut of a bike at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Enter the 899 Panigale.

This bike is so important to Audi and the VW Group that it was brought on stage alongside the Audi Nanuk Quattro Concept on VW Group Night.

The 899 Panigale is a down-sized version of the 1199 superbike. It runs on a 2-cylinder engine with 148 HP and 73 lb-ft of torque. It also comes with quite a few driver assistance technologies: electric throttle control, engine brake control, triple-stage anti-lock brakes and traction control.

After reading the above and some of the 899 specifications, it seems like a great bike for the price, but of course you're also paying for the name. Still an amazing bike.
