Are there lights on the front side of the mirrors? It makes the side mirrors look pretty cool. I also can't believe how close this rider gets to the ground when going around corners. He must have some beat up knees on his leathers.

Yeah, they're turn signals. A good number of new bikes have them, it's not all that uncommon. It would be cool to also have turn signals on the farings

It's just too bad there's are not wallpaper sized, still big high quality pictures though. Im sure there has to be some collection of Ducati 899 wallpapers out there.
