The Oberon Clutch Slave photos show that the unit doesn't have anything inside it that prevents the clutch control rod from rotating around.

The stock clutch slave has an anti-rotation insert that has a cutout for the pins on the clutch control rod (figure 10 in the attached picture, part 71319442A).


But the Oberon appears to just have a hollow circle.

Are you supposed to transfer the old anti-rotation insert into the new Oberon when installing?

What you call anti rotation insert should be #10 on your picture and I would think Yes you’ll have to reuse the stock one

I think they may have updated the CLU-1199 clutch slave.

Because the photos now show an adapter that guides the pushrod.

You don’t have to use anti rotating insert from old slave with new updated Oberon slave cylinder. The black peace on the picture above is doing the job.

I believe the newer version comes with the adapter.
