Yep Ugrin. did the opti coat couple days ago.. what do u think about the paint? looks the same?

Took this pic around 10 am..
How are you getting along with the Opti-Coat 2.0?

...i thought anything that's on the bike when they opticoat stays on until you remove the coating with abrasion. I'd be confused about why the tank sticker is still on too.

It has more of a sheen to it like you waxed it or something.

*EDIT*

Haha! I see, you Opti Coated it! I just bought some Opti Coat 2.0 yesterday and will be applying it to my red Panigale next week.

What did you think of the application process? Did you do all the plastics, wheels, and metal? What was your prep?

Sorry about all the questions but I really want to know!

HaH... Didnt really do any prep.. I didnt ride the bike when I got it.. so it was clean.. I just bought some rubbing alcohole and wiped the bike down.. and started the Opti..

I only did the body and some black plastic panels.. like the front and rear mud guards.. took me like 30 min to do the bike.. oh.. plus I did my helmet..LOL

So far so good.. but makes me feel if I did it right.. I dont see any any difference in color.. even in the sun.. thinking about doing another coat on top..

After everything was done.. I see I used about .5cc still have about 20cc.. I think I can do my truck with this.. lol

Good luck!

You will notice the diference once you wash it. The dirt will just come off only by rinsing.

I recommend doing the wheels as well :)

Hey, I would love a review of your experience so far with the opti coat 2.0. I'm really interested in using it on my bike and want to know how it's held up, what it's like!

:mad:they used a single-stage paint on the red bike....

Thanks!
