Does anyone know if the comp werkes LTD fender eliminator that sits closer to the exhaust pipe is legal? Has anyone had any trouble with cops saying it's not visible/illegal?

I will be installing it on my bike.

I do not think it is legal at all.
I like the cleaner looks but the cops sure don't. My friend got dinged for a similar plate bracket. He is bringing it to court though. For me I would rather avoid the hassle.
That's probably true. I think I'll just stick to the standard comp werkes fender eliminator and integrated tail lights. It still looks a lot better than the stock one -

Thats sucks, the cop should be happy he at least stopped for the cop. I see a lot of guys run from cops cause they know most police won't chase them
Looks pretty simple to do. i wonder if the cops would care about the position or even notice the change.

My buddy has had it on his 1199 for months and he hasn't had any trouble. The way he rides, I would assume he's been pulled over a few times since the install!
Another thing i noticed with riders and guys with modified cars is if they drive like a d-bag, they're very likely to get pulled over. Sometimes cops will leave you alone if you're being normal. Some people just attract attention to themselves.

Totally agree, And if on top of that you're not a prick to them, your odds of getting away without a problem are even better.

I was doing 89 in a 65 in my car, with expired registration and no proof of insurance. I said yes sir, no sir, thanks you sir. He told me to slow down and have a good night!

*I had insurance and my registration was a change of address mix up, but still a nice let go.

Some guys are just so lucky.
Is the Ltd. fender eliminated reversible so you can have it angle away from the pipe rather than towards it?
