Carbon parts

Hi Guys
I am trying to look for gloss clear coat carbon parts for front mudguard, rear hugger and exhaust heat shield. Probably heels guards at some stage when decide what rearsets to get.
I would like to get from all the same manufacturer so all the weave and coating are consistent.

I like this from slingshot racing ($129 - quite reasonable) but they say for 2014 model. I assume it will fit the 2013 model? The front guard is quite expensive at $240 and not got a rear for 899.

Anyone got any suggestions? Proving to be quite hard to source.

Much obliged!

and a quick poll.....which would you prefer/think would look better?....gloss or matt coat? (on arctic white model)

Take a look here: carbonvani.com
High quality parts. They can also do custom stuff. As for clear vs matt; I've never understood the matt carbon fiber. IMO it looks like cheap plastics with fake carbon look :D

Maybe, but just maybe it, could look good on the white bike since its paint is somewhat matt. But as all things, in the end, it comes down to personal preference.
I think matte would look better on the 899, not sure about gloss. Might have to see both on the bike to better decide
IMO I would prefer the gloss carbon on my red 899. I like the shine when the sun hits it. But as said I think matte could work well on the gorgeous shape especially in white
This is my bike... full carbon rear end including rear hugger, exhaust heatshield from the full system termi..

Anybody know where to find the carbon chain guard?

I agree, the Matte Carbon on the white looks HOT. My girl has a Monster 696 Artic White Gloss, and the Gloss Carbon looks better on that.. but ya all a matter of personal preference.
Thank for all your comments so far. Yes, it's all down to personal preference. I think the gloss might look good as it will be contrast against the matte white and might add a bit of sparkle/bling.
Might have a to wait a while for more products to get into market. I'm certainly a believer that less can be more and bikes that are ALL carbon is a bit much....but again, that's my opinion.....everyone has different tastes and I would definitely not say that someones pride and joy looks 'rubbish' just because it may not be to my liking.
Some guys like fake boobies....some guys like natural....all about personal taste....if you excuse the phrase!

Just spoke to a nice guy at Conquest Carbon. Rear huggers will be available in about a week or so and price around £100.

be good to see some photos if you get one
Conquest Carbon now has rear huggers available.....£130.
different strokes for different folks I guess. I tend to like the dry carbon look more than the wet carbon, unless its a 4x4 twill or v-weave pattern and you're leaving it totally naked. (see Zonda R or Koenigsegg Agera if you aren't sure what I mean by 4x4 twill or v-weave)

Hope this helps you out... I have all OEM Carbon from Ducati too include the Spring Cover and Ignition cover. It is more matte carbon than anything. I like it that way. The 1199 is glossy. Enjoy!

Got a Ducati Performance front fender today from dealer. They are quite a bit more expensive than other aftermarket carbon supplier. The finish is great and looks great.
Also gave in and got white rear seat cowl. I do not think they will ever sort the colour issue. Its not too bad.

Nice. I like the DP OEM parts. You may pay more but you definitely get good quality. I got front fender today. Got other parts coming from conquest carbon soon.
I got the whole catalogue of DP carbon parts
Including the engine cover which you don't see

But I am doing a warranty claim ATM
Cause the engine cover doesn't fit right
One side bolts up correctly and the other side sticks out like 5mm of the engine case
And hitting the fairing

The dealer told me it was like that.
I told him I'm paying top dollar for these parts
And it sits like that
Are the carbon parts made in china ???
Hahhahaha now his doing a warranty claim

Hopefully they change it
Or money back

I could be real picky with the DP carbon parts
Cause your paying so much for it
But I won't go there
