Has anyone looked at swing arm mounted plate holder/mud guard like you can purchase for the Monster? That would eliminate it all off the tail. It'd give extra rooster tail protection too.

I installed the Evotech Tail Tidy on my 899 on the weekend. It's so easy to install and fits so snug!.

Fitted the R&G tail tidy yesterday, not too bad a job, about 2 hours, but spent quite a bit of time trying to locate my crimping tool and also included fitting the new smaller plate and fixing the old reflector bracket to the rear of the new plate.

In all honesty, although the R&G looks really good, I personally think it would be worth spending the extra on the Evotech after seeing the photos fitted. Not had chance to take any good photos yet, too wet yesterday and today, but will take some and post them when I get chance.

Fitted the Comp Werkes LTD fender eliminator and the integrated tail lights. Cleans up the lines of the tail really nicely.
Looks great!

How bright are the integrated turn signals on this? I've heard mixed opinions.

I too had heard mixed opinions about the CW kit but most of the comments I'd seen about brightness issues were related to the smoked lens, which is why I opted to stick with red. Mine are bright enough to be seen when I need them to be and have a good color to them. I'll see about doing a side-by-side when I take my bike in for it's first service in a few weeks.

One note: the yellow/orange of the blinker doesn't appear to be as bright as the red of the tail lights, but it could be due to the color.

That's what I was wondering about. It would be interesting to see how bright they are compared to the taillight and the activated brake light—better yet in person, guess I'll just have to pull the trigger when I actually get the bike.
