Hi everyone!

I've searched and searched and am having a little trouble. I've set sag on many bikes but for some reason I'm having trouble with the 899.

I weigh 170 with gear 6'

Ducati says roughly 6 clicks from full soft on preload.
Sportrider says roughly 30 clicks

I've tried both and am getting roughly 44mm rider sag on ducatis setting and 34mm on Sportriders setting.

I see many others on this forum are using 2 clicks from full soft. So what is it? Why is there such a difference from different sources?

Here's what I was looking for! This is from my tech at the dealer.

Rear sag, from full extension, 22-25mm (with gear on)

Front sag, from full extension, 38-40mm

Ducati got the clickers pretty close in stock trim. Forks--Typically, I add (clockwise to slow down) 1-2 turns of compression in the forks for track riding or hard street use, and ½-1 turn of rebound.

Shock- add 1 ½ compression, Rebound – add 3-4 clicks

These are mostly for track use and hard riding like I said so for street use, it might be a little harsh.

Spent some time today but I got it.

At my weight of 170.

I have...

FORKS
6 clicks in from full soft PRELOAD
5 full turns out from full hard COMP
4 full turns out from full hard REB

SHOCK
Factory Ducati Race recommendation

RESULTS

31mm no rider sag front
40mm rider sag front & 25mm rear

Rides perfect with very aggressive riding

Only got out for about 20 miles, but it felt good...more testing to follow.
