Just ordered a clear set of these for my 899 as an alternative to Stompgrip. Love the idea of traction pads on tank and think Stompgrip works really well, I had it on my 08 R1, however, it trashed my "at the time" new Alpinestars MX1 leathers, so have been looking for an alternative.

Had an email from R&G today showing these traction pads, cheaper than Stompgrip too, so have ordered a set, will provide an update when fitted and tried out. Won't be this week though as having my eyes zapped on Friday so can see where I'm riding!!

Good find adeyrob!

The texture doesn't seem as corse as the stompgrips with the numbies that dig in to your pants and wearing them out.

Looking forward to seeing how they look and hear your feedback on them ;)
