I think i am going to install the complete Akrapovic Evolution exhaust to my new (not yet ordered) 899.

I had doubts whether the Ducati Performance carbon heatshield would fit over the Akra piping.

But all the bikes i have seen on pictures with the Akra exhaust has also had a gloss carbon heatshield with Akrapovic logo.

Can anyone tell me if this heatshield is a part of the Akra kit?

Yes the kit comes with it's own carbon fiber heat shield.

Havent quite decided if i want to stick with matte carbon or clear coat it.
