they look great for a simple snap on piece. How much do they go for? How sure are you they will fit??

They're $80 a piece MSRP... but I've seen them for less on ebay as a set... most with the 1199 don't want them, so they sell 'em off. Only hitch is you need to drill two small holes in the fairing... so it's sort of a permanent deal.they look great for a simple snap on piece. How much do they go for? Personally I really like them. I'd say go for it especially if you feel there is a functional need. You have Arctic or Red? I'm just imagining now if you had arctic how sex it would look with red aero kit contrasting the white fairing and matching the red wheelsThey're $80 a piece MSRP... but I've seen them for less on ebay as a set... most with the 1199 don't want them, so they sell 'em off. I went into my local dealer to check a set out and see how they'd mount up... fits just the same on an 899 as it does on an 1199.
I'm still debating... I'd really like to test out a set first... But word from my bud at Ducati is that they DO make a difference- at least on the 1199... but nothing earth shattering. I could use some extra wind protection, that's for sure. That or a narrower torso.@Brainfry you end up pulling the trigger?
I have a set of these from my 1199 in red if anybody is interested, they have never been out of the bubble wrap..... I believe they don't require drilling they actually fit between the fairing pieces or so I read???
Yep. Fit, color and appearance= badass. It might even deflect a bit more air than stock. Didn't need to bolt or adhere them with anything either. No holes drilled. They're in their tightly.Anyone ever put these on an 899 after all and have pics? I'm curious the color match on the red since the 899 has no clear and the 1199 does. Since the 1299 has a wider nose fairing it's got me thinking....
At $149, I was close to picking up a set. However, I went to Slingshot Racing's website and saw this note:Found these on eBay. I would like to see them on a 899.

That's exactly what I was thinking.i'd like to see an installation video to understand how they can scratch 100% of the time...why whouldn't someone put some tape or something over the right area to prevent this...?
I PM'd you the other day. You did not respond. So I am going to warn the community about you and your evil ways.Sweet. Enjoy it!

I would try posting on the 1199 forum... I expect there are plenty of owners that received one with their bike that have not installed it and wouldn't mind the cash.Does anyone know where I can get non carbon aero faring? Not sure about the carbon, thinking I would prefer red.
