The 899s are arriving in the US now... I noticed nobody has posted yet so I thought I would. I picked mine up last night. I only have cell phone pics right now.

Is that exactly how they packed the 899 in that box or did they have some cover over the bike that was removed before the photo was taken?

I think there was some foam on top and the bike was all wrapped up.

Does the bike comes with passenger pegs ??

Yea it came with them.

My first impression... I love it. The powerband is really street friendly and the riding position is pretty comfortable. It can get hot like the 1199 (probably not as hot) if you have to sit in stop and go traffic but that hasn't bothered me at all.
