It must be at a minimum 600 because that's what sets off the service light the dealership must reset. What's the typical expectation for the mileage when bring it in? How close to 600 miles do we need to be? I'm in the mid 400s right now and could be to 600 by Friday if I tried even just a little (it's sure fun to ride). Do I need to hit 600 first, or do I need it in before 600 miles?
Ah, got ya. Makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give them a call and see when they're available to do the service. It must be at a minimum 600 because that's what sets off the service light the dealership must reset.
Same story here, I drove mine this weekend and it didn't come on right at 600. Came on shortly after which was around 621 miles.I was told it's a 1000km which I think equals 621miles. As my service light came on bang on 621miles

Same here. Don't take it in until the light comes on. I couldn't get in until around 800 miles. The dealer said its no problem. He rarely sees them before 1k miles anyway. Cost me $350. Kinda annoyed they didn't offer me a discount because I had to pay someone to remove that charcoal canister. Bike wouldn't start when hot. All good now at almost 2k miles.I was told it's a 1000km which I think equals 621miles. As my service light came on bang on 621miles

409$ What state do you live in? my 600 mile service was 195$. It seems slightly odd, although i know all dealerships have somewhat different pricing seems like there is alot of people paying different amounts.Just got my 600 service today. Dropped it off at 10am and got a call that it was ready at 1249. Good service, but dang expensive at $409. Bike felt smoother on my ride home and you are right, sounds even better.
I have a funny feeling the pricing depends largely on how close the dealerships are together. If theres only one around they probably can charge more. Think your probably rite on that one. hourly service charge was 70$ here in Oregon. Deff could make big difference in overall price of work.I have a funny feeling the pricing depends largely on how close the dealerships are together. I paid $350 in ft myers. Next nearest ones are a few hours away.Think your probably rite on that one. hourly service charge was 70$ here in Oregon. Deff could make big difference in overall price of work.
A friend of mine at Ducati near Seattle told me $300-$350. I know its not SF, but I'd imagine the costs would be comparable. Ill be going in on Saturday and I'll post up my final price.Anyone have price quotes from the Bay Area for this service? Seems like I should probably except to pay around $350...
