100 F to 120 F (40 C to 50 C) Cooling Vests?

Hi Guys,

Needed your help on selecting cooling vest. Please give feedback from experience:

Country: India
Summer: 5 Months
Temp Range: 100 F to 120 F (40 C to 50 C)
Humidity: Very Low

Can anyone recommend an evaporative cooling vest that will work in this sort of climate. Most reviews don't mention operating temperatures and or the time period the vest will work before you need to wet it again. Also most users are in areas with max temp of 100 F, usually around 95 F (35 C).

Please help, or my panigurl will be parked for 5 months and she will feel sad....so sad...

Australia summers aren't great either. I'm keen to hear more about these vests.

I think your best bet would be some kind of Joe Rocket brand mesh jacket... me, I have one, I use it for tooling around town, but for serious spirited riding, I only wear leather.

I wear a dainese super speed d1 perforated jacket and a rs taichi cool ride shirt underneath.

Kansas summer are hot and humid. The rs taichi cool ride under shirt gives a cooling effect once I am in motion. It is much better than wearing a cotton t-shirt and having that sweat just soak in the shirt.

I've tested the shirt in 105deg Fahrenheit weather. It keeps me COOL, but by no means dry.

Anyone try the Macna, EZCooldown, or GlacierTek vests? I have a track day on Sunday, and it's going to be almost 100. I'm inclined to go with non-evaporative tech, since we also have pretty high humidity. The biggest concern, aside from whether they actually work, is how bulky they are as my one-piece is pretty snug; especially in the chest/neck area.
