Hi! New member with new (2014) 899 track bike.

Picked up an ex bsb support racing/track bike a week or so ago.
I had concerns about it passing noise testing (even with standard silencer *butterfly valve removed)
More trouble if was that When Erving the engine, it would sound as if it was hitting the rev limiter at 5000rpm.

I have a video but can’t seem to attach to this thread.
However if I put a vid on YouTube maybe someone would know what is going on :0

Grats on the pick up. The 899 wasn't a quiet bike to begin with which is why they have longer exhausts for it but that's just very un-panigale. They might make exhaust baffles depending on your exhaust. Would need a video to see what you're trying to fix.
