Total miles not displayed

Question. So my battery died(even after using the "ducati tender"). Ended up replacing the battery with an AGM one. Now my total miles are displaying dashes. I took it to the dealer today and they could not reset it. When its hooked up to the laptop it displays the miles, once the tech disconnected it, it goes back to dashes. Even the ducati tech did not know how to fix this issue. Has anyone ran into this problem?

I have heard about this happening on Hypers and Monsters, but this is the first instance on a Panigale.

Historically, it requires connecting it to the DDS and performing a reset. It sounds to me that the hooked it up, but once the mileage reappeared, they didn't go any further.
