Coolant Leak Near Squirter Unit

Hello,

I tried searching the coolant leak threads before posting this thread. After only 581 miles it seems I have developed a coolant leak on the left hand side of the motor. More specifically on the top hose that goes to the squirter unit. At first I thought it may have been a loose clamp and indeed I did get an extra 1/4 turn out of the hose clamp. However, upon re-inspection a few weeks later it seems it did not remedy the issue. I will post the diagram to help aid in diagnosis. If someone has experienced the same issue any help would be appreciated. If the squirter unit needs to be replaced what would be the best way to get to that item. On to the pictures.

Only 581 miles? Have you even had the first service yet? You must still have warranty if it's that new.

Mine seems to have developed a coolant leak over the past few days as well. Only a small puddle on the garage floor once, I cant find the source and the reservoir is low. Currently debating whether I should top it off and keep searching for the leak, or just call AMS and let them work their magic. Luckily I have just over a month left on the factory warranty.

Thanks for the replies. I was figuring it was the thermostat housing and/or the hoses running to it. Unfortunately for me I believe my warranty has run out. The bike is a 2014 that I bought "used" with 370 miles on it. I have not performed the first service yet either. Maybe I can see if they will warranty this part. If not, I might try to replace it myself. I'm assuming the tank and more must come off to replace that. If anyone has experience with that please chime in.

Ah bummer. I've never taken more than the side fairings off so I can't be of any help there. You might have more luck searching the 1199 forums. Keep us updated.
