Swing arm conversion and suspension question

I am going to be changing my 899 to the single sided swing arm.

At the same time I have the opportunity to get an 1199 rear shock.

This is the Ohlins 1199s ttx rear shock.

I am wondering if this is something that would be any benfit? Should I get that as well or just leave my 899 rear shock on there? If I did change it what would be the difference?
