on a side note, the ABS on the bike is very aggressive, i turned it off for the first time at the track this weekend, it was like some put a different set of brakes on the bike, night and day better with the ABS off
Awesome! Happy they worked out well for you too. I'm definitely happy with these pads. They made a difference, and the brakes were really the only issue I had with the bike.

did you happen to notice if you experienced the same transfer of extra material and change in lever feel? i just wanna make sure i didnt over cook the pads a bit at the track

I haven't noticed that, but I haven't had these pads on track yet. I put them on after my last track day because I wasn't happy with the other pads.

I'm a little confused at this, what exactly was it that was better with the ABS turned off? Were you experiencing that the ABS was kicking in on the track in Race mode with ABS on level 1? Or was the feel better with ABS off? I've been running the ABS on all year, and literally there was only 1 time when it kicked in when braking hard in a bumpy braking zone.

the bike stops better with the ABS off, this has been shown in magazine tests as well

Can you be more specific? How does it "stop better"? Are you saying you're finding it has more braking power with the ABS off?

It makes sense that it would have more braking power with the abs off, the abs is designed to stop most rear wheel lift so it would have to limit some of the braking force

It doesn't have anti-lift-up prevention in ABS Level 1 (Race Mode), that's why I asked if you had been riding it in Race mode with ABS on Level 1. On Level 2 it has "reduced" anti-liftup prevention, and on Level 3 it has maximum anti-liftup prevention.

I don't know what else to attribute the improved braking to then, I was trying to find the article that showed the 899 braking distances with ABS on and off, it was a substantial difference like 50 feet 60-0
